Kelsey Pettitt D.C., C.A.C.C.P.

Dr. Kelsey (Eischeid) Pettitt grew up on a farm right outside of Carroll, Iowa. She is the daughter of Bob and Beth Eischeid. Dr. Pettitt attended Kuemper Catholic High School where she participated heavily in Basketball and Softball.

Dr. Pettitt went on to study exercise science at Iowa State University. Shortly after high school, she met her husband, Wade Pettitt at the Carroll Country Club! After working for a few summers with Wade at the golf course, they both moved to Davenport, Iowa where Dr. Pettitt attended Palmer College of Chiropractic.

Since school, Dr. Kelsey and Wade have opened a clinic in Waukee where they focus on reversing neuropathy naturally! With such great success in the Des Moines Area, they decided they wanted to bring this formula back to their hometown.

The Founders

Wade also grew up in Carroll, Iowa and attended Carroll High School. He is the fourth oldest of twelve kids. He is a two-time Iowa High School State Golf Champion and continued his career at Indian Hills Community College and Drake University before turning pro in the fall of 2008.

Wade played on professional mini-tours all across North America including the Canadian Tour, Gateway Pro Tour, and the Dakota Tour. The golf course, of all places, is where he and Dr. Kelsey first met.

Wade was introduced to chiropractic care as a young child and was lucky enough to experience the health benefits all throughout his life. As a child, whenever he or any of his siblings were sick, his mother would first take them to see the chiropractor. Getting adjusted helped boost their immune system and fight off illnesses much quicker! Wade is excited to educate the Waukee and Greater Des Moines area on the numerous benefits of neurologically-based chiropractic care.

madison johnson D.C.

Dr. Madison Johnson grew up in the rural town of Guthrie Center, Iowa, and received both her Bachelor of Science in Human Biology and Doctorate of Chiropractic degrees from Texas Chiropractic College. There she was awarded top academic honors including graduating Summa Cum Laude and Salutatorian of her class.

She was also merited the Faculty Association Academic Excellence Award and the Outstanding Chiropractic Technique and Skills Award. Dr. Madison was a Presidential Ambassador as well as a member of the Omega Psi Honor Society.

In addition to academic excellence, Dr. Madison is very passionate about caring for the prenatal and pediatric patient population. She holds a certification in the Webster technique and is currently an active member of the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association where she received her advanced training in pediatrics and pregnancy.

Dr. Madison takes a holistic approach to patient care, looking at the overall picture of a patient’s health as opposed to one aspect of health. By utilizing all of her resources, she is better able to offer whole body care for her patients to truly heal on every level.

When she’s not busy changing lives in the clinic, Dr. Madison enjoys being outdoors, spending time with her family, and staying active in her church and community. Dr. Madison believes you’re one adjustment away from having a great day!

Kirby Brick D.C.

Dr. Kirby grew up in the metro area before she went on to receive her undergraduate degree in Kinesiology from Iowa State University. She knew that she wanted to work in the healthcare field and being a chiropractic patient for many years herself, that was the route she wanted to pursue.

Dr. Kirby went on to receive her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic, graduating in 2021, and has been in practice ever since.

Outside of the office she enjoys playing sand volleyball and all things outdoors. Inside the office she cherishes the opportunities to help patients achieve their goals and improve their overall health so they can live the life they want to live.

Derek Bechtel D.C.

Hello! My name is Derek Bechtel. I have been a Chiropractor since 2022. I completed my education at The University of Iowa and then received my Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic. I grew up in a small town called Cherokee in Northwest Iowa.

My wife and I got married in 2022 and welcomed our first child into the world in 2024. I cannot wait to get to know each and every one of you. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask!

Fun Facts

I grew up with roughly 40 chiropractors in my family! My wife and I met taking American Sign Language in undergrad. We got married in Hawaii so I could see more of my culture.

Hobbies

Outside the office, you might find me golfing, cooking fun new meals, fishing, or going to the park or zoo with my family!

Hi, my name is Susan LaHaise. I’m originally from Southern California and my previous employment was as a department manager at Nordstrom and then went on to be a recruiter at Apple One. Following the birth of my sons, I decided to become a stay-at-home mom.

Paige Holmes

Paige joined us in June, she just recently got married! Her favorite things to do outside of work are to on walks with her dog and husband or to travel. Her favorite food is Mexican, and loves interacting with new people. Paige is very excited to learn more about chiropractic care and get to know our patients.

Brett

Brett, a Waukee native, embarked on her journey in healthcare by earning an Associate in Science in Physical Therapy Assisting from Mercy College of Health Sciences in 2016. With 7 years of experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant, Brett has honed her skills in various healthcare settings.

Currently furthering her education, Brett will be graduating with a Bachelor's in General Studies from the University of North Dakota Spring of 2024 and plans to pursue a Master's degree in Kinesiology, showcasing her commitment to continuous learning and professional growth.

Beyond the healthcare realm, Brett is a passionate dance instructor, sharing her joy for movement through classes in the local area. She also indulges in the practice of yoga and reading. Outside of the clinic, you might spot her gracing the Civic Center stage or cheering on the Iowa Wild hockey team.

In joining our team, Brett brings not only a wealth of healthcare expertise but also a vibrant blend of interests and talents. She is thrilled to be part of the KPC Studio 360 team and is ready to meet the clients with enthusiasm and dedication.

Brittney Downey

Brittney joined the KPC team in November 2024 after relocating to Iowa from Nebraska in August 2023 with her husband Brian and their son Jordan. Although her family is originally from Columbus, Nebraska, Brittney was raised in Euless, Texas, giving her a unique blend of southern warmth and Midwestern values.

She played collegiate volleyball at Missouri State University–West Plains, where she earned her associates degree, and later returned to Lincoln to pursue a degree in Human Services at Doane College.

With over seven years of experience in the medical field, Brittney brings both compassion and professionalism to her role. Her passion for helping others and her commitment to creating a welcoming, supportive environment make her a perfect fit for the KPC family.

When she’s off the clock, Brittney loves spending time with family, hitting her favorite yoga classes, and adventuring outdoors with her golden retrievers, Ares and Atlas. She’s also a proud cat mom to Bella, always has a book nearby, and firmly believes that coffee is its own love language.

When asked what drew her to KPC, Brittney shared, “The culture here is incredible. It’s really like one big family.”

Madison holds a Bachelor of Science in Biology and brings a deep passion for health, healing, and helping others to the team at Key Potential Chiropractic. Outside the clinic, she’s a certified personal trainer at OYF in Urbandale, where she supports clients in achieving their fitness goals.
